Saving Southern Kitties
Saving Southern Kitties
Tega Cay, SC

Saving Southern Kitties is a South Carolina rescue devoted to saving cats and kittens from high kill and rural shelters. They focus efforts on the cats and kittens which are not seen on the adoption floors at these shelters and are labeled 'rescue only'. Shelters do not have space to put every cat on the adoption floor and must decide which ones do not make the cut. Usually it is the cats who aren't super fancy, have a sniffle, or who may have been a stray for too long. Often times, these felines only have a few days to be rescued before they are euthanized. Saving Southern Kitties is their chance at finding a forever family.
