Best Executive Gifts for Any Type of Manager

Choosing a gift for your boss, CEO or executives can send fear running through your veins. It holds more weight than a gift to family or friends. Most are in charge of your project assignments, job functions, pay and ultimately, your career growth.

How can you possibly say thank you for everything they have done for you, mentoring and molding you into the employee you are today? How do you choose something thoughtful, not too expensive and maybe even useful? How do you know when to go together on a gift or to purchase it on your own? The challenge of finding a high-end executive gift and deciding how to present it is a real concern and you’re not the only one going through it.

To simplify this process, we categorized a list of seven different executives and the best executive gift ideas for each one. Now it’s possible to say “thank you” with a one-of-a-kind present that will stand out, yet not be too obnoxious. One that is customized and personalized, yet simple and sincere. No matter what type of executive you have, the perfect gift is out there waiting for them.

For the serious executive: Even though this type of executive works hard each and every day does not mean they couldn’t go for a pat on the back every once in a while. You need executive gifts for him or her that show you care without distracting them from their work. Spoil them with gifts they can use right in the office. Think writing pads, fancy pens, a new letter opener or a mouse pad with their favorite image on it.

For the bold executive: Give them a reason to brag. They’ve put in the time and might even think of themselves as a ruler, or the guardian over the office. This type of executive might appreciate a certificate or a plaque showing their awesomeness, especially if it came from their employees. Do they have a unique trait that stands out? Are they a confidence queen? A hard worker? The coffee king/queen? Let them know that their unique quality does not go unnoticed.

For the creative executive: This is the type of executive who appreciates white boards and seeing a concept come to life. They are always thinking outside of the box and view hurdles as possibilities. Customized planners and calendars are an ideal gift idea. Think keyboard calendars, adult coloring book planners, large weekly desk and pocket planners, and memo notebooks to track all of their creative ideas.

So, what are you waiting for? Be the hero in the office by making the bosses happy. Executive gifts should send the right message by offering recognition and gratitude, while not going overboard. We hope our list of executive gift ideas helps you find that perfect gift that sends the right message. Customized executive gifts you are dreaming of are just a click away.
