Promote Your Brand with COVID Vaccine Card Holders

At your first COVID-19 vaccination appointment, your provider should have given you a double-sided CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record card. This vaccine card tells you what COVID-19 vaccine you or your child received, as well as the date and location where you or your child received it.

A COVID-19 vaccine card is not only an important piece of your medical records, but also your ticket into many public places (such as restaurants and events), as well as to travel (especially internationally). If you haven’t been vaccinated yet, learn more about the COVID-19 vaccine, how to sign up for a COVID vaccine and where to find a vaccination site near you.

That is why protecting your vaccination record is so important—and we have a variety of COVID vaccine card holders to help your customers or patients keep their records safe while also promoting your brand.

How to store your CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record card

Since you may need to show it in the airport, at the door of a large event, etc., a COVID vaccine card is one medical record you are encouraged to carry with you. It is important to treat it with care and protect it from wear and tear.

While it may be tempting to laminate your card, that makes it difficult to add booster shot information. Protect your COVID-19 vaccine card with a vaccine card holder, which is typically made of vinyl and clear plastic to protect your vaccine card and keep it easily accessible to display as needed.

Why it’s important to carry your COVID vaccine card with you

To keep students, employees and customers safe, many governments, employers, organizations and schools are requiring vaccinations or a negative test result, which makes carrying your vaccine card with you so important.

In addition to a vaccine card being handy for admittance into work, school or various other public places, having your card on hand for potential doctor visitors—or unplanned hospitalizations—is important so your providers know which vaccine series you were administered. This can be helpful if you have any reactions.

As the pandemic continues and new variants emerge, travel restrictions are in place for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, with stricter testing for unvaccinated travelers and proof of vaccination status needed.

Be sure you have a valid COVID-19 vaccine card. It will have the CDC logo, be two-sided and will be the one you received from the vaccination site. While it is important to take a photo of the front and back of your card for your records, don’t post your vaccine card on social media. It contains personally identifiable information (and personal health details) that could make you a target of identity theft.

If you lost your COVID vaccine record, you can get electronic access to your vaccination records with your state’s public health department.

COVID vaccine card holder options to promote your brand

A COVID vaccine holder is a handy giveaway to help your clients keep their medical records safe and easily accessible to display when needed. It also keeps your brand front and center for your customers—and the places they visit—to see. Here are a few vaccine card holder options to consider:

• Twin card holder: Keep your vaccine card handy with your insurance card or keep your kids’ vaccine cards all in one place with this twin vaccine card holder. Made of polypropylene and available in eight different colors with a one-color imprint (or multi-color imprint option), this vaccine card is recyclable and will not stick to your card, making it easy to display and put in and out of the card holder. It’s also available without an imprint and in one business day if you need vaccine card holders in a quicker time frame.

• Lanyard with ID holder: While typically meant for an ID or conference name tag, this full-color lanyard with badge holder combo is also ideal for a COVID vaccine card holder. It comes with a split key ring and bulldog clip for easy assembly.

By providing a much-needed giveaway—a COVID vaccine card holder—your clients, employees and students will be prepared to display their vaccination status on-the-go. They will also appreciate the usefulness of your gift. Did your event go virtual? Check out these virtual swag bags to get your brand into their hands.
