Pens Get “Write” to the Point
Mar 01, 2023

The point of promoting your business, that is.
Day by day, month by month – not once, but every single week of the year for all of 2022 – "pens" was the number one search term in ASI’s ESP database of promotional products.
Pens is the top ranked search term for promotional products
ASI is the Advertising Specialty Institute. ESP is the industry-leading e-commerce-enabled platform for searching tens of thousands of promotional products. Through all of that – custom printed pens are the most searched product category. Top of the list, ranked #1, what people are looking for most!
That’s quite an endorsement.
But it only makes sense. 89% of all consumers own a logoed writing utensil, and keep it an average of 9 months!
They are also one of the best values in promotional products generating more than 3,000 impressions during their lifetime at a cost per impression of less than 1/10¢. Compare that to 3.6¢ for Primetime TV, and you understand why promotional products work. Plus 81% of consumers say they would rather receive a promotional item than watch a TV commercial. What more can you ask?
So, what does all of this data mean? It means that imprinted writing instruments, specifically company logo pens, are the most widely used and cost-effective way to spread your brand name and message. Plus people want to receive them, use them and keep them.
In our busy world, we need to be prepared to absorb every possible piece of information we can. A great way to remember these important facts is to write them down. The most versatile promotional pens have the capability to write on paper as well as, swipe on a touch screen, or light up a dark room. MARCO Promos has several options and price points for these logo combination items:
Many of these items are available with a 24-hour production lead time so when you are in need of custom branded pens fast, MARCO Promos will be able to find just the "write" item for you, no matter what your budget. We can help you use the #1 favorite search item to cost-effectively promote your company and your message.
