Street Dawg Crew of Utah is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness and those in low-income or vulnerable situations. Founded in 2017, the organization provides essential services such as free pet food, supplies, and access to veterinary care, including vaccinations and spay/neuter procedures.
Recognizing the profound bond between pets and their owners, especially among the homeless population, Street Dawg Crew aims to ensure that no pet goes hungry or suffers due to financial hardship. Their outreach efforts extend beyond the homeless community to assist low-income veterans, domestic violence survivors, and seniors, including partnerships with programs like Meals on Wheels.
Operating solely on donations and volunteer support, the organization collaborates with local businesses and veterinary clinics to maximize their impact. Through regular outreach events, they distribute pet food and supplies and organize free vaccination clinics to promote responsible pet ownership. By addressing the needs of both pets and their owners, Street Dawg Crew of Utah fosters a compassionate community where the welfare of all members, human and animal alike, is prioritized.
