The Green Lake Association is a non-profit organization with a singular focus on water quality. All of their projects protect and improve water quality in Big Green Lake and the surrounding watershed. These projects include restoring a mile of eroding streams annually as well as planting native trees and grasses to stabilize stream banks. They also provide scholarships to future farmer students to help them learn about conservation practices that protect the land and water early on in their careers.

PAMLE's mission is to promote best practices for middle level education. PAMLE is a non-profit organization that provides professional development for teachers and administrators across the state. They offer both regional and state conferences which allow teachers to receive required Act 48 hours. In addition through their School To Watch program they recognize middle level schools that are on a trajectory of continuous improvement. Once schools are recognized they must continue to be on a pathway of continuous improvement in order to be redesigned as a Schools To Watch School every three years.
