FLITE Center is Broward County’s one stop resource center offering all supportive services to youth aging out of foster care, chronically homeless youth, youth survivors of sex/human trafficking and displaced LGBTQ+ youth. Upon arrival at FLITE Center, each young adult is assisted with their individual needs in the following areas: education, employment, housing, wellness, system of care coordination and resource navigation. Since September 2020, FLITE Center has served over 3,300 youth.

8 Cents in a Jar, Inc. is an award-winning Florida nonprofit that creates opportunities for students in marginalized neighborhoods and/or communities of color to achieve economic mobility through financial education. They teach students how to save money, acquire assets, and diminish the cycle of generational poverty. Starting at the age of 8, they develop students from elementary through high school and higher education. Their efforts help students avoid common pitfalls with money management and take advantage of wealth accumulation at an early age in life across generations.
